The Water Garden Retreat
85/9 Moo8, T.Khusalod, A. Ladbualuang,
Ayutthaya 13230, Thailand.
Dear Visitor,
We would like to introduce to you our beautiful Thai retreat. A two acre site set in unspoiled countryside in the province of Ayutthaya, Central Thailand (1hour 30mins north of Bangkok). We have a Thai style wooden house amid gardens, ponds and tropical fruit trees. The house is built on stilts and the ground floor is an open area where we have a bar and pool table and a dining area and the main kitchen is on ground level. Across on the other side of the site is a small one bedroom guesthouse also built on stilts finished in New Zealand pine suitable for a small family or a couple or anyone wanting a rest from the pressure of city life or whatever (Aor and myself lived there for six months while the main house was built and were very happy there). The house has its own sala, (this is a covered seating area with a table and a built in fan) and has its own private drive and carport .There is a kitchen so it is self contained. Breakfast or fresh coffee is available also dinner if you like Thai food. The pace of life is easy and relaxed without too much traffic in the area and no tourists around. It is an especially beautiful part of the world and is known as ‘the rice bowl of Asia’ due to the abundance of paddi fields. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and chill out; Or maybe a place to study and write; uninterrupted.
You will find that our prices are very competitive even by Thai standards, even though we only accommodate one or two guests at a time. Think of it as VIP accommodation on a budget. Perhaps more suited to mature people wanting a rest from the pressures of city life etc. So if it sounds ideal for you we are sure that you will not be disappointed. We will do our utmost to take care of you and to let you have as much uninterrupted space as you want. There is a Buddhist shrine room in the main house always open , a washing machine/or laundry service, free wi fi and many other mod cons. Please contact us and ask anything we forgot to mention.
Love and Peace,
John & Aor
